PRP: Artifact - Sunlight effects

Well I have been experimenting with daylight systems for my PRP artifacts and it really brings a model to life and with a view adjustments to the property, you are able to develop a variety of light effects from morning, evening and night.

Here are a few test examples I have done.

 Normal Settings.

Normal settings with horizon and haze added to it.

Red and blue tint changed to produce a dark blue for a night sky, with a night sky map added.

Finally a night sky that turned out pretty wrong, but I thought it had a nice mythical quality to it.

PRP: Artifact - Fire animation

I have created a low particle fire animation, by using Pray Push and Blizzard particle systems. As you can see the effect is fairly decent, however there are a few things that I can do to improve the quality.

PRP: Artifact - Snow material

Just an update of a snow material that I made for my snow artifact, this is just a test render.

PRP: Artifact - Lighting test

Here is a screen shot of the moon producing light which interacts with the scenery around it. This is a test to see how I can use the lighting to produce different atmospheres for my work.

P.s. This lighting is a three - point lighting system.

PRP: Artifact Snow - short mov

Here is what the test atmosphere of snow will look like come the final version of the artifact.

PRP: Artifact Snow

I have been doing a few more test reders for my artifacts, which if you dont already know, is to develop emotions/atmospheres on 3D software. So I have been testing snow particles and what I have achieved so far, I am fairly happy with. I will however improve the quality and atmosphere of the final artifact of snow.

Anyway here is the test render of the atmosphere of snow:

An Update on my PRP

So basically I have been writing my research paper whilst designing work which I'll eventually use for my artifacts. Here are a couple of screen shots which shows my normal scenery and the other with added lighting, all this is to show a comparison of one another and to see how lighting can add atmosphere towards the scenery.

Simulated Client - Piracy

For my simulated client project, I will be demonstrating how easy it is to download someone elses work and class it as your own, if they haven't copy righted it correctly.

For this I will be making a retro animation of Tetris, were the building which is getting stolen is moving from one side of the screen to another, which will be indicated by a download bar.

After a few seconds the download bar will blow up and a black screen with text will appear stating that you need to copy right your work correctly, if you don't want this to happen to you.

P.s. I have used low poly for my work because if I planned to use this as an internet advertisement, then I would have to keep the poly count to a minimum.
